1.3 Menus Commands-------------------
*Shut Down
If you press + while the start menu is up, you get 2 options. Choose TI-OS (1) to shut down COS. If you press (2) OFF, it will shut down your caculator. When you turn it back on, COS is still running. This is due to advanced COS Startup Technology. (DO NOT USE OFF IF YOU HAVE A TI-83 PLUS!)
*Suspend
This makes a pretty picture sort of. It lasts some time. This is if you want your caculator on. It's more like a screensaver. To activate this while the start menu is up, press -.
*Help
Hmmm... Easy help with easy key refrence.
*Settings
Press / while the start menu is up. This activates the settings menu. Look under 2.1 for more information.
*Programs
This brings up the program menu.
*About
The glourious information on who made it... ME!
**********************

1.4 Where they are...----------------
If COS is busy, you will see a busy indicator in the lower right corner. If it is not, you will see Wait.
**********************

2.1 Settings-------------------------
To activate settings while the start menu is up, press /. To change the startup message, press 1. To change password, press 2.
**********************

2.2 Setting Programs-----------------
Edit the program called 'PROG'. Change the XXXXX# to any desired name you want. Then correspond that number at the end of XXXXX to a label. Edit that label and change the program name.
**********************

2.3 Password-------------------------
This is your password to keep traspessers out. If you forget it, and you didn't turn off the setup wizard, your ok. If you did turn off the setup wizard, doomsday.
**********************

2.4 Setup Function-------------------
Once you have set up your password, you can choose to turn off the COS setup program. This way, people can't just run the COS 5 setup and get the password that you started with. If you choose to turn it off, you must goto the registry editor. You need your password to get into the registry. If you forgot your password and need to run setup again, make sure that you turned on the COS setup program. If you turned it off, your in trouble.
**********************

2.5 Registry-------------------------
This controls COS functions. You can change litteraly everything here. Just be careful..... Some of the registry settings also control the memory in your caculator.
**********************

3.1 Earlier Versions-----------------
*1.0 - Nongraphical. COS 1.0 was editable so you can add your program list to it. It contained only program lists, and shut down.
*1.2 - Added a screensaver.
*2.0 - Nongraphical. COS was not editable. You ran the programs from an external program. It had a screensaver, shut down, and about.
*2.1 - Fixed the 'wipe out your memory' bug.
*3.0 - First graphical OS for COS. It was non-editable. You ran the programs from an external program. Had no start menu. You pressed the top Graphing Keys (Y=, Window, Zoom, Trace, and Graph) to get around COS.
*3.1 - Shortened the code a bit.
*4.0 - Graphical with start menu and mouse. The mouse was a bit slow to use. Had screensaver, shut down, and you ran programs through a external program. At this time, I released COS Networking Client 1.0 and COS Networking Server 1.0.
*4.1 - Fixed a bug. The mouse would run off the screen into 'foreverness'.
*5.0 - Public Release. Latest since last year. New start menu, settings, program definable menus, suspend, and startup.
*5.1 - Fixed more bugs.
*5.2 - Incompability with CALCOFF on the TI-83 PLUS. Fixing that soon.

3.2 Future Versions------------------
